SPCE-TC Young Investigator Award

The Portuguese Society of Stem Cell and Cell Therapy (SPCE-TC) invites the submission of abstracts on original work for consideration for the Crioestaminal & SPCE-TC Research Award in Regenerative Medicine.

Aiming to promote research in the area of Regenerative Medicine, the SPCE-TC and Crioestaminal, launch in 2023 the third edition of the “Research Award in Regenerative Medicine”. This prize will distinguish the best publication of a basic or applied nature in the designated area, authored by national or foreign researchers, wholly or partially carried out in Portuguese institutions in the year prior to its attribution (2022). The prize consists of the attribution of a pecuniary value of 2000 € and the 3-day registration fee at the ETRS & SPCE-TC Joint Meeting 2023.

Works published in an indexed scientific journal, which have as first and/or last author members with regular membership status of SPCE-TC working in Portugal at the time of carrying out the research and application.

Those interested in competing for the third edition should send their work by August 31st, 2023 to geralspcetc@gmail.com. The application must contain a motivation letter indicating the importance of the publication, SPCE-TC membership certificate, as well as the PDF of the publication with supplementary document, if any.

The authors of the winning work will be informed by the SPCE-TC until the week before the ETRS & SPCE-TC Joint Meeting 2023. Public disclosure and awarding of the prize will take place during the congress, in which one of the authors will present the work.
