The European Tissue Repair Society (ETRS) invites the submission of abstracts on original work for consideration for Oral Presentation Prizes.
6 Young Investigator Candidates (age < 35 years) will be selected from their submitted abstracts by the ETRS board to compete for the ETRS Young Investigator Awards (YIA) during a plenary session (7 min oral presentation + 3 minutes discussion each). From those 6 oral presentations, three will be awarded the following prizes:
• 1st Best Oral Presentation in the YIA session will be granted the possibility to present his/her work at the Wound Healing Society (WHS) annual meeting. WHS will cover the registration, travel and accommodation costs to the WHS annual meeting.
• 2nd and 3rd Best Oral Presentations in the YIA session will be awarded with 500 €.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A ETRS YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD
• Be an ETRS member;
• Submit an abstract and apply for the ETRS Young Investigator Awards (on the abstract template) until July 16, 2023;
• Register prior August 13, 2023 (early-bird deadline);
• Send an e-mail to office@etrs.org including the registration number, abstract number, proof of society membership and proof of Young Investigator status.
Note: Should an abstract be selected from an individual who is not a member of the ETRS, then the membership fee for 1 year will be deducted from the prize.
A balance between basic and clinical topics should be aimed for.
